JROTC II
The Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program prepares high school students in grades 9 through 12 for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities and privileges as American citizens. The Leadership Education and Training (LET) program consists of four years of instruction with a maximum of 108 core hours and 72 optional hours per year. One credit is awarded for each academic year. Core courses include Techniques of Communications, Leadership Lab, Map Reading, History, Citizenship, Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention and Cadet Challenge (physical training). Fees are associated with this course.
